When you create an account on Clippit, we collect limited information to identify and reach you including your username, name, email address, and chosen password to authenticate into our service.
To make the Clippit experience better, we collect information on how you use our service and how you interact with advertisements through Clippit and on Clippit ads and widgets on third party sites. We also collect information such as what clips you’ve created, what clips you’ve like,d what clips you’ve commented on, what comments you’ve written, what clips you’ve re-clipped, what clips you’ve shared, and what clips you’ve marked inappropriate.
You may link your Clippit account to other third party services you use such as social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. If you connect your account, we collect information through the third party services. This information we receive varies depending upon the service and privacy settings there but may include profile information such as age, gender, and location, your contacts on that service, and content you’ve made publicly available.
We determine your location in order to determine what TV shows to display for you.
How We Use Your Information
Improving the Service
The main purpose of collecting the above information is to improve the Clippit service so it provides more value to you and other Clippit users. Additionally, we use the information to keep Clippit running, to better understand how you are using our service, to customize your experience, and to prevent abuse.

We may disclose your information to our employees and contractors only for the purpose of administering, providing, and improving our service. Our employees and contractors have agreed not to disclose your information to others.
